Specialized
2006 was the 25th anniversary of the Stumpjumper, the world's first mountain bike introduced by Specialized. Since then, Specialized has led the biking industry, using new materials like carbon and metal matrix, and changing standard biking geometry to produce bikes with the perfect balance of quickness and dependability. In 1994, Specialized created FSR technology and since then have been refining both hardtail and full suspension designs.
Specialized's mission is to make bikes that allow every rider, regardless of orientation, to enjoy their desired experience even more.
Kids
Kids who ride a Hotrock—and the parents who buy them—want "big kid" quality and technology in a "little kid" package. Specialized kids bikes are designed by the same team that engineers our top race machines. Whether getting a feel for the dirt on a front suspension mountain bike or cruising the blacktop on a 12" walker, kids need a bike that's light, safe, durable and easy to control.
Women
It's about the system, not just the frame color…
Some companies make smaller versions of men's bikes. Other companies simply change the frame color. But Specialized focuses on real rider needs, using anthropomoetric research and feedback from female riders to create mountain bikes that improve fit, efficiency, and confidence. Every detail of Specialized's women's bikes—frame, components, saddle, wheels, geometry, integration, custom tubing, custom-tuned suspension—is designed and engineered to improve and enhance a woman's time on the road or trail. See Dolce below.
Mountain Bikes
Stump Jumper—Like the riders who hammer it, the Stumpjumer Hardtail is lean, strong and exceedingly efficient, with an incredibly lightweight, high performance frame and spec combination.
Rockhopper—Looking to upgrade your trail adventures? The Rockhopper is a lightweight and responsive bike that feels like a much more expensive ride.
Hardrock—Better than ever, the Hardrock is still the best performing mountain bike in its class. Lightweight frame, stable geometry and outstanding specification, no other entry level hardtail on the market can match this combination of performance, versatility and value.
Road Bikes
Roubaix—Three consecutive wins at Paris-Roubaix demonstrate that smoother is faster. On the cobbled roads of northern France or the coutnry roads by your home, the Roubaix is true to its namesake, delivering stability, efficiency and high performance for longer rides or rougher roads.
Secteur—The Secteur invites everyone to ride longer and more comfortably. Whether you're training for a century, sitting in on (or leading) a weekly group ride, or simply building fitness, the Secteur is light and fast with an emphasis on smoothness and stability.
Dolce—From social rides to weekly workouts to challenging centuries, the Dolce is for women riders who want a comfortable, stable, and easy-to, use bike to achieve fun fitness goals…without breaking the bank.
