Group Bike Rides
Whether you’re new to the area or a visitor, feel free to join one of the many group rides offered in our area. Some of these rides change over to off-road a little later in the year.

Monday
In Ashland (weekly ride) — Meet at 5:30 p.m. from Prentice Park in Ashland.
- No drop 20 miler at conversational pace with some hill sprints.

Tuesday
In Hayward — New Moon Road Ride
We are going to ride at 5:15 p.m. Tuesdays, weather permitting. Mileage of 15-25. Usually two groups of different speeds. Feel free to call (715) 634-8685 for more disclaimers, obfuscations and mis-directions.
In Rice Lake — Rice Lake will roll from the Turtleback Golf Course . 5:30 or 6pm. Anyone with questions, please contact Mark Bittner (715) 415-5399.
Wednesday
In Ashland (weekly Mountain Bike ride) — 5:30 p.m. starting in late May. 60-90 minutes single track. Contact Aaron Swanson at (715) 292-1384.
Thursday
Chequama Mamas Ride — 5:30 p.m. launch for a ride going somewhere for some distance and some unknown pace. Contact Gary Crandall at (715) 798-3594.
Saturday
Ride at Gerry & Mary Hansens — Group Ride every Saturday at 12:00 at Gerry and Mary Hansen’s on County Road A. It is a no drop ride with an average speed of 16-18 mph, with the distance increasing each week. If need be there will be a 2nd group going a little bit less distance and average speed. The ride will continue until Scott Wilson starts his ride at Cresthill at the end of May. Any questions call Gerry or Mary at (715) 462-4462.
In Mason — Cookie Jar Ride . This just in—the Cookie Jar in Mason has closed thus eliminating the primary focus of the ride—Mark D says—watch this space for further announcements—as of today 4-11-11 this Saturday ride has a PENDING FURTHER INFO status. Sunday
In Seeley — Ride from Riverbrook. 10:00 a.m. roll-out for an on road ride. Don’t know how long—or how fast—or where they go—but it is something you should attend Contact Tim Swift for more info.
