New Moon Ski & Bike, located in beautiful Hayward, WI– Home of the American Birkebeiner and the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival - has openings for the following positions:

Floor and Mail Order Salesperson. This person would be primarily but not exclusively responsible for retail and phone sales, clothing and store prep, equipment rental and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, outgoing and passionate about educating our customers about outdoor clothing and equipment.

Bike and Nordic Ski Technician. This position requires an experienced technician comfortable dealing with customers. Strong sales skills a plus.

Hayward is a small community with a diverse population including many artisans, silent sports enthusiasts as well as the Lac Courte Oreilles Native American Reservation. Many world-famous events take place in the area including the Birkie, Fat Tire Festival, the Lumberjack World Championships, Honor the Earth Pow Wow and Fishing Has No Boundaries. Hayward is also the golf capital of the Midwest.

World-class biking and ski trails are out our backdoor as well as some of the best lakes and forests in the Midwest. Beautiful Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is about an hour’s drive north for great kayaking, camping and sailing.
