CAMBA SINGLETRACK TRAILS
The Hayward/Cable area is a great place to visit, not only for its world-class events and beautiful lakes and scenery, but also for its renowned trail systems.
CAMBA, the Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association, has created a nationally-acclaimed system of remarkable single track and two-track mountain bike trails through a wilderness of striking beauty and peaceful solitude. The trails lie in and around the beautiful Chequamegon National Forest as well as in Bayfield and Sawyer County Forests – nearly one million acres in which to ride.
CAMBA’s user-friendly system is designed to encourage off-road bicyclists to enjoy and explore the Chequamegon area. The routes follow a variety of paths, including logging roads, fire lanes, snowmobile trails, ski trails double track trails, but is best known for miles and miles of phenomenal single track that is fun for beginners and experts alike! There are no paved bike paths in the system.
