We have been working hard to dial in our entire collection over the last year. While many pieces got a complete overhaul, our graphic jerseys just needed a little fine tuning. The overall fit that you have come to love is the same, but we did add a little length to the sleeves. The full zipper has been upgraded to an easy-pull semi-autolock option from YKK. Silicone gripper has been added around the entire bottom of the jersey to keep things from twisting or riding up. The woven tag in the back of the neck has been replaced with no-feel printed label. And a small reflective detail has been included at the base of the middle back pocket to increase your visibility during low-light riding. All small improvements that add up to a big deal, with no change in price. Once long ago, wool was the material of choice for cycling clothes and other active clothing. In the 80s, synthetics began to replace wool because they were new and shiny and stretchy and you could sublimate flashy, detailed graphics onto them which was a nifty thing for teams and shops. Even while synthetics enjoyed their era of dude-holding-the-bong popularity, however, wool did not die off. It still offered some really great features, like great moisture control and a resistance to putrescent reek. Our jerseys are an excellent example of wool done well. We've tried hard to produce something we hope will become your favorite piece of cycling clothing. Our long sleeve jerseys are made from medium-weight Merino wool. Merino fibers are soft and non-irritating even on sensitive skin. The fabric weight makes them suitable for cool weather to cold weather. They have a high collar to help keep the cold out and the warm in, and feature long body and long sleeves. The sleeves have reinforced thumb holes to help make sure they stay all the way down as you ride. Like our short sleeve jerseys they feature a full length zipper and a reinforced rear pocket with zippered access on both sides.
