Developed especially as an underlayer for fluoro powders, but works extremely well also as a final layer. HF 21 Graphite (10/28F) Engineered especially for new snow and contains a precisely defined amount of graphite. Hardness is positioned between HF11 Yellow and HF21 Blue. HF 11 (28/36F) For new and old snow. The softest wax on HF -series. Compared to traditional warm condition HF gliders the HF11 is relatively hard and not so oily wax. Extremely dirt repellent. Fast Wax Fluoro Base Prep I is specifically designed to prep skis for waxing. Engineered with the elite / competitive skier in mind, it complements the Fluoro Hot Box Wax with the same excellent results, exceptionally fast skis right from the start. Iron in before waxing or hot box at 160° F to anneal and harden the bases. Fast Wax Fluoro Base Prep is a blend of our specialty micro wax, combined with hard waxes and our unique polyethylene based fluorinated compound to add speed and durability to skis. Waxing with Fluoro Base Prep makes for fast durable skis.

Liquid glide waxes will always perform better if a base preparation is done with an ironed-in paraffin or the use of a liquid base primer. Designed specifically for wet conditions and dirty snow. The black additive helps reduce friction and reduces the amount of dirt that sticks to the base. As well as being superb in wet conditions, this wax is also highly competitive in colder weather. The speed of the waxing iron should be approx. 8-10 seconds for a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability. Scrape after waiting about one minute. It is important to have a good waxing iron in order to melt the wax efficiently. With high-quality solvents, liquid waxes absorb effectively into the base and retain the performance of the ski base longer than hot melted paraffins. Is best when used on top of liquid base wax or traditional paraffin waxes. After the wax has dried completely brush thoroughly first with a nylon brush, then with a brass brush and again with a nylon brush. Rode Racing Liquids come in Cold, Med and Warm. These waxes are durable and fast out of the gate. Simple to use and a sponge applicator is included for easily spreading the product. This sponge also stays saturated maximizing the use of the bottle. Non aerosol. Rode is one of the very few companies using an aluminum bottle for decreased plastic waste. For increased speed and durability use the Rode Wool Roto. All temperatures listed are snow temperatures. ****Tech Tip- Put on the night before skiing and buff with Rode Wool Roto Buffer and then brush out with nylon or horsehair aggressively the next day for increased initial speed and durability.**** Racing Liquid Cold -5C to -15C (5F to 23F). Really good in newer cold snow and at lower humidity. This wax can really fly in the right conditions. Racing Liquid Med -2C to -7C (19F to 28F). This one is a monster. If we were to recommend one liquid wax to have it would be RLM. Good in a variety of snow types and in the key temp range of the 20s This won about 70% of our fluoro free wax tests last year. We simply cannot say enough about this wax. Racing Liquid Warm -3C to 0C 26F to 32F RLW is a versatile warm solution especially when the humidity remains below 50%.

The PURE PRO POLAR Powder wax is Vauhti's best base for very cold natural snow.
