Rode Racing Liquids come in Cold, Med and Warm. These waxes are durable and fast out of the gate. Simple to use and a sponge applicator is included for easily spreading the product. This sponge also stays saturated maximizing the use of the bottle. Non aerosol. Rode is one of the very few companies using an aluminum bottle for decreased plastic waste. For increased speed and durability use the Rode Wool Roto. All temperatures listed are snow temperatures. ****Tech Tip- Put on the night before skiing and buff with Rode Wool Roto Buffer and then brush out with nylon or horsehair aggressively the next day for increased initial speed and durability.**** Racing Liquid Cold -5C to -15C (5F to 23F). Really good in newer cold snow and at lower humidity. This wax can really fly in the right conditions. Racing Liquid Med -2C to -7C (19F to 28F). This one is a monster. If we were to recommend one liquid wax to have it would be RLM. Good in a variety of snow types and in the key temp range of the 20s This won about 70% of our fluoro free wax tests last year. We simply cannot say enough about this wax. Racing Liquid Warm -3C to 0C 26F to 32F RLW is a versatile warm solution especially when the humidity remains below 50%.

SG 10 GREEN (-22F to 14F): The gold-standard for cold weather glide wax. Start Green is incredibly hard. Ideal for ultra-cold temps with abrasive, fresh snow.Caution! Start Green is incredibly hard - apply carefully so you don't overcook your base. Keep the iron very hot so that you can move quickly over the ski without dwelling iron the ski to melt each spot. The original universal grip tape. Apply to a clean and dry kick zone and enjoy up to several hundred Ks of good kick if you keep the tape clean. Cork aggressively to "refresh".

One of the few truly universal waxes available. It is able to glide in cold temperatures and kick when the snow warms up. This wax outperforms other klisters in fresh snow conditions while simultaneously is able to kick in transformed ice crystals. In racing, this wax can be used as a mix with another klister, or under a cover wax. The versatility of this mix is in part due to its composition of klister raw materials, terva(tar), and aluminum. The aluminum additive prevents the formation of ice around freezing, when snow is in transition between solid and liquid state. The special ingredient is the terva which enables the wax to kick in warm conditions and remain fast on cold snow. The tar that is used in Uni Wide is created through the dry distillation of Finnish pine trees. What remains is a unqiue thermoplastic that transforms with changes in temperature. In a thin application, the tar hardens and creates a shell to protect from fresh ice crystals. In a thick application, the tar acts as a cusion layer to provide kick on rounded and transformed ice crystals. Application: Begin with a thin application of base klister or base klister spray. Then apply Universal Klister in a chevron pattern along the kick zone of your ski. Tech tip: apply a thin layer for fresh snow conditions, and a thicker layer for transformed snow conditions. Rub in an even layer with your thumb or synthetic cork. When racing, allow the skis to sit base down on the snow for a brief period of time to allow the hard shell to form, remove any excess snow sticking to the base and go ski.

Start Anti Ice Glider is liquid icing prevent glider created especially for no wax skis based on nanotechnology. Anti Ice is packed in handy plastic bottle equipped with sponge to ensure easy and equal apply to the ski base. After applying let dry about five minutes and ski is ready for use. Anti Ice Glider improves gliding in no wax skis without reducing grip abilities. Treatment with silicon content liquids are not recommended by ski produces. One treatment with Anti Ice is enough for ten kilometer skiing.

Apply long if tracks are soft or slippery. Red/Silver (32/38F new) (30/34F old) Very tacky for very wet and fresh snow min the 30s and 40s. May need to be covered if icing is a problem. Special Red (28/34F) A popular choice for many classic skiers. Good for those wet days with fresh snow that is not quite klister snow. One of the essential kick waxes. Violet (32F new) (27/30F old) For damp, sticky snow right at freezing. Prone to icing if snow is fresh. Cover with Rex Hydrex if icing is a problem. Violet Special (27/32F new) (21/28F old) For moist snow beginning to get sticky and damp. Cover with some blue extra if icing occurs.

The PS series are great gliders for training and competition with good glide properties. PS5 TURQUOISE, -.4°F/14°F The PS5 is the hardest wax in the line, and is a great choice in cold conditions, due to its great durability and dry friction properties. It's a great choice both for alpine and cross country. Despite being a wax for cold conditions, the melting point makes it easier to apply than many competitors in this area, without sacrificing the great glide properties. For fresh, old or manmade snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Scraping after appr. one minute. PS6 BLUE, 10ºF/21°F PS6 is very versatile. Its area of use stretches from base for powder to racing wax and base prep wax for cold skis. PS6 has a good durability and offers great performance on natural and artificial snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. PS6 can be used as race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 145°C (293°F). Replaces the CH6X PS7 VIOLET, 18°F/28ºF PS7 is a wax that performs great in normal winter conditions below the freezing point. Its hardness makes it convenient to work with and easy to get a good end-result. PS7 is an economic training and racing wax as well as an all round base prep wax. A wax for extreme cold conditions, which can perfectly be used alone as a race wax when the air humidity is low. It performs very well on artificial snow and has great durability. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability. Scraping after approx. one minute. It’s important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Scraping after approx. one minute.
