Use the waxes you already have and add as much or as little moly to it. Save your money for $14 hamburgers! Fast Wax has two version of our Moly Additive wax, cold and warm. Depending on the conditions choose one that fits the temp range you will be skiing in. The Warm Version is for temps 10 to 40F. To use, simply remove any old wax from your ski base. Drip on some Fast Wax Cold or Warm Moly Additive. About a drop every 2? will do. Then drip on the wax of the day. As you iron in both waxes, they will mix together, and you will be ready for the trail or mountain. Moly will help keep your base clean by reducing electrostatic friction, aka “static cling”. With a reduction in electrostatic build up on the bottom of the ski, you will encounter a serious reduction in environmental friction from dirt, bark, or other contaminates you find on the trail. When does one use a Molybdenum Additive? When the snow is fine-grained the temperatures are cold, humidity is low and the air is dry. A wax with a Molybdenum Additive will enhance the static-reducing benefits of a graphite ski base. Why buy a whole line of Moly based waxes when you can use Fast Wax Moly stick to make any wax a moly wax? . One of the few truly universal waxes available. It is able to glide in cold temperatures and kick when the snow warms up. This wax outperforms other klisters in fresh snow conditions while simultaneously is able to kick in transformed ice crystals. In racing, this wax can be used as a mix with another klister, or under a cover wax. The versatility of this mix is in part due to its composition of klister raw materials, terva(tar), and aluminum. The aluminum additive prevents the formation of ice around freezing, when snow is in transition between solid and liquid state. The special ingredient is the terva which enables the wax to kick in warm conditions and remain fast on cold snow. The tar that is used in Uni Wide is created through the dry distillation of Finnish pine trees. What remains is a unqiue thermoplastic that transforms with changes in temperature. In a thin application, the tar hardens and creates a shell to protect from fresh ice crystals. In a thick application, the tar acts as a cusion layer to provide kick on rounded and transformed ice crystals. Application: Begin with a thin application of base klister or base klister spray. Then apply Universal Klister in a chevron pattern along the kick zone of your ski. Tech tip: apply a thin layer for fresh snow conditions, and a thicker layer for transformed snow conditions. Rub in an even layer with your thumb or synthetic cork. When racing, allow the skis to sit base down on the snow for a brief period of time to allow the hard shell to form, remove any excess snow sticking to the base and go ski.
$21.00

Keep your skins skis from grinding to a halt when wet snow, around freezing, can cause the skis to ice up so that Skin skis can be problematic in wet or dirty snow as the snow can stick to the skin and cause that nasty situation of a ski that doesn't grip but also doesn't glide. Skin inserts need occasional treatment to resist this situation and of course Swix has come up with a solution that is easy to use and performs admirably. Application: Rub on to the skin using a back and forth motion to coat the hairs of the skin. Dry for 30 min. before skiing or applying Swix Skin Boost.

Old/partly transformed snow from -1°C to -4°C (34°F to 25°F). Purple-red kick wax works very well in moist new snow and shiny tracks. Will also work on older, slightly transformed snow some degrees below the freezing point. If tricky conditions around zero VP65 is recommended. The wax contains a new additive designed to impart maximum lubricity. This improves the stick-slip properties of the wax and gives an excellent feeling. VP65 PRO BLACK/RED For new and new fallen fine-grained snow from 0°C to 2°C (32°F to 36°F). Old/partly transformed snow from 0°C to -4°C (32°F to 25°F). The black additive speaks for versatility and great anti-icing properties. VP65 works best on top of a couple of layers of a slightly harder wax. It also works great as a cover on top of klisters. **Apply each layer thin – then smoothen the surface with a synthetic cork (T12). The VP-line is primarily designed for racers and ambitious non-racing individuals but can also be used by recreational skiers who want the optimum skiing experience.

NEW Fluor free version of Glide Cleaner. Cleanses the base as well as Rex Remover, but without making the base turn gray and dry. Apply generously to cloth or fiberlene, wipe the base clean and let dry for 2-3. minutes. Brush well with a nylon brush. After treatment, Rex Glide Cleaner leaves a very hard and thin layer of Rex UHW hard wax, that acts as an excellent binder for both liquid and solid paraffin waxes. Always start a new glide waxing by cleaning with Rex Glide Cleaner. It will make the attachment and durability of sequent wax layers considerably better. Glides well even on its own on dirty and artificial snow, that is usually found in ski tunnels.

Excellent performance of GF fluorinated grip waxes comes from a revolutionary ingredient that reacts to temperature precisely. Thanks to this innovation, the risk of the grip wax icing in cold temperatures is reduced considerably and the grip properties are exceptional. GF grip waxes have wide operation range, which makes them a good choice also for recreational skiers. GF Green: -4F to 24F. Built for the coldest of days, GF Green is suitable for all snow types, and excels as the temperature drops. To maximize the durability and grip conditions of GF Green, you can use GF Carrot as a base wax. GF Carrot: Old Snow 10F to 28F. The flagship or the GF line of kick waxes, GF Carrot is a must have for every wax box. This all-purpose wax sticks extremely well to skis at sub-zero temperatures. GF Carrot works best on old or coarse snow, starting at temperatures around 30 F (-2 C), and extends down to 10 F (-12 C) on hard-packed tracks. GF Carrot can be used alone or as a base wax for other K-Line products. This wax is also extremely wear-resistant. GF Blue: 14F to 27F. GF Blue is the perfect complement to the GF Carrot. If the snow is too fine for GF Carrot, time to put your GF Blue to work. Best results are found on fine or coarse, old snow. GF Violet: 19F to 30F. A wax developed for new, fine snow in mild winter conditions, GF Violet is built for difficult new snow conditions. The grip properties of GF Violet set in at just below freezing with exceptional glide properties. GF Violet has a range extending as low as 23 F (-5 C) on new snow and 14 F (-10 C) on old snow without losing its superb glide properties. GF Pink: 23F to 32F.
