GS Base AT is a base wax that excels in fresh snow conditions. Good durability, combined with excellent glide properties make this a popular choice when the snow is falling, especially with fine snow. GS Base AT can be applied cold, without ironing.

The GS wax series from Vauhti is a synthetic compound that is fluoro free. GS Green: Cold conditions make for the best classic skiing, and GS Green is the kick wax for the job when temps are down. Can also be used to cover our softer kick waxes for maximum grip. Temperature Range: 14/ -22 F (-10 / -30 C) GS Blue: An all-purpose grip wax for colder winter conditions. GS Blue is a great compliment to our GS Carrot. Temperature Range: 23/ 5 F (-5 / -15 C) GS Carrot: Has the ability to work in old and coarse snow over a large temperature range. It also has exceptional durability attributes. A great complimentary wax to our GS Blue kick wax. Not to be used in new snow conditions. Temperature Range: 30/ 21 F (-1 / -6 C) GS Red: Is the obvious choice for tricky conditions right around the freezing point. Containing aluminum, this formula can deal with all snow types. Pure Race liquid glide waxes are intended specifically for competitive skiers and demanding active skiers. High-quality hydrocarbon ingredients, zinc stearate and silicon wax processed with organic solvents gives excellent performance and good durability to the products in all weather conditions. At its best when used on top of PURE BASE WAX. After wax has dried completely brush thoroughly first with a nylon brush, then with a brass brush and again with a nylon brush. Liquid glide waxes will always perform better if a base preparation is done with an ironed-in paraffin or the use of a liquid base primer. Use the Pure Pro Base liquid base primer on a regular basis on new and stone grinded skis and from time to time during the season to get the most benefit and wear resistance from the liquid glide waxes. Liquid base wax doesn't need to be ironed in and can be used as a base for other liquid glide waxes and paraffins

The PURE PRO POLAR Powder wax is Vauhti's best base for very cold natural snow. It is usually used as a base under a liquid or block (wool applied) top coats. -Temperature ranges of -13/23F (-5C/-25C). -Comes in a 35g container with a perforated lid for easy sprinkling. -Melts like a paraffin wax, unlike the bad-old fluoro powders, thus is used more of like a base wax, but is also used as a top coat in some situations
