The GS wax series from Vauhti is a synthetic compound that is fluoro free. GS Green: Cold conditions make for the best classic skiing, and GS Green is the kick wax for the job when temps are down. Can also be used to cover our softer kick waxes for maximum grip. Temperature Range: 14/ -22 F (-10 / -30 C) GS Blue: An all-purpose grip wax for colder winter conditions. GS Blue is a great compliment to our GS Carrot. Temperature Range: 23/ 5 F (-5 / -15 C) GS Carrot: Has the ability to work in old and coarse snow over a large temperature range. It also has exceptional durability attributes. A great complimentary wax to our GS Blue kick wax. Not to be used in new snow conditions. To maximize the durability and grip conditions of GF Green, you can use GF Carrot as a base wax. GF Carrot: Old Snow 10F to 28F. If the snow is too fine for GF Carrot, time to put your GF Blue to work. Best results are found on fine or coarse, old snow. GF Violet: 19F to 30F. A wax developed for new, fine snow in mild winter conditions, GF Violet is built for difficult new snow conditions. The grip properties of GF Violet set in at just below freezing with exceptional glide properties. GF Violet has a range extending as low as 23 F (-5 C) on new snow and 14 F (-10 C) on old snow without losing its superb glide properties. GF Pink: 23F to 32F. A new addition to the Vauhti line of kick wax, GF Pink is made specifically for new snow conditions. PS6 BLUE, 10ºF/21°F PS6 is very versatile. Its area of use stretches from base for powder to racing wax and base prep wax for cold skis. PS6 has a good durability and offers great performance on natural and artificial snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. PS6 can be used as race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 145°C (293°F). Replaces the CH6X PS7 VIOLET, 18°F/28ºF PS7 is a wax that performs great in normal winter conditions below the freezing point. Its hardness makes it convenient to work with and easy to get a good end-result. PS7 is an economic training and racing wax as well as an all round base prep wax. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 140°C (284°F). Replaces the CH7X. PS8 RED, 24.8º/39.2ºF PS8 is an economic training and racing wax as well as base prep wax for warm skis. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 130°C (266°F). Replaces the CH8X. PS10 YELLOW, 32°F/50ºF PS10 is an economic training and racing wax as well as base prep wax for warm skis. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 120°C (248°F). Replaces the CH10X.

A wax for extreme cold conditions, which can perfectly be used alone as a race wax when the air humidity is low. It performs very well on artificial snow and has great durability. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability. Scraping after approx. one minute. It’s important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Scraping after approx. one minute. In the warmer part of the temperature range, and when high air humidity, a powder or other top coat product will increase the performance. - Recommended iron temp: 155°C (311°F). - Replaces the CHX4. - -14°C/-32°C (7°F to -26°F).
