Star's new Next Fluoro Free waxes offer world cup level glide using a completely fluoro free compound that's easy to apply and cures quickly. The enormous success of liquid paraffins with Dry Fast Technology has been combined with the use of new, and already successful additives used in the NEXT Powder line. To apply just shake the bottle, sponge a film of liquid onto your skis wait 1 minute for drying. You can then simply brush with a fine nylon brush. HS5 TURQUOISE, -.4°F/14°F The 5 series is the hardest wax in the HS line, and is a great choice in cold conditions, due to its great durability and dry friction properties. It's a great choice both for alpine and cross country. Despite being a wax for cold conditions, the melting point makes it easier to apply than many competitors, in this area, without sacrificing the great glide properties. For fresh, old or manmade snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Scraping after appr. one minute. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. HS5 can be used as a race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 150°C (311°F) HS6 BLUE, 10ºF/21°F HS6 is very versatile. Its area of use stretches from underlayer for powder to racing wax and base prep wax for cold skis. HS6 has a good durability and offers great performance on natural and artificial snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. HS6 can be used as race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 145°C (293°F). HS7 VIOLET, 18°F/28ºF HS7 performs great in normal winter conditions below the freezing point. Its hardness makes it convenient to work with and easy to get a good end-result. Can be used as a racing wax at low air humidity, but will also serve the purpose as a brilliant training wax. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating ski or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. HS7 can be used as race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 140°C (284°F). HS8 RED, 24.8º/39.2ºF A great wax for both base-prep and training. It can also be used as a race wax, preferably used with a top coat. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 130°C (266°F). HS10 YELLOW, 32°F/50ºF HS10 is a great base prep wax, but also a great training wax. Ideal in warm conditions, typically during spring skiing. For racing we recommend to go with a top coat as the final layer. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 120°C (248°F).

BLUE, 10º/24.8F 125ML A liquid spray-on training and racing wax that can be used alone, or as base for other racing waxes. Especially developed for cold conditions, down to -12°C (10°F). Below this point liquids are normally outperformed by traditional paraffin waxes. HS6L is a versatile wax that works in all snow conditions, but performs at its best when the humidity is high. Replaces CH6XL. HS7 LIQ. VIOLET, 19ºF/28F°, 125ML A liquid spray-on training and racing wax that can be used alone, or as base for other racing waxes. HS7L performs at its best when typical winter conditions below the freezing point. Can handle various snow conditions and is not humidity sensitive. A safe choice that rarely underperforms within its core area of use. Replaces the CH7XL. HS8 LIQ. RED, 24.8ºF/39.2ºF 125ML A liquid spray-on training and racing wax that can be used alone, or as base for other racing waxes. HS8L is an extremely versatile wax on both sides of the freezing point with exceptional feedback from racing. It performs in older snow below freezing, new falling snow above freezing and everything between. Basically a must have in conditions you will meet often. Replaces the CH8XL HS10 LIQ. Scraping after approx. one minute. It’s important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Scraping after approx. one minute. Extreme durability! A great powder for extra cold conditions, that has high durability on aggressive snow and excellent dry friction properties. - Perfect on cold man-made snow - Easier to apply than corresponding cold waxes PSP is a special powder wax to add to other waxes to increase their durability, and to protect the base from ice abrasion. For especially abrasive snow, such as newly man-made snow, apply the wax of choice and then iron. While the wax is still in liquid form, or at least still warm, sprinkle the PSP powder over the wax. Even a generous amount will not affect glide. Then iron the powder into the wax layer. Allow cooling, then scrape and brush away the excess. Recommended iron temp: 150°C (302°F). Replaces the CH3X.

The Racing eXtra Liquid (RXL) glider line is the evolution of the Racing Liquid line (RL), which had huge success when introduced in 2020. Thanks to the use of special fluor-free additives, the RXL line takes performance to a new level with increased speed and durability. The RXL line gives extra acceleration, extra water- and dirt-repellence, as well as extra abrasion resistance. It has a very wide range of use as it is suitable for all types of snow: natural or artificial, new or old. These waxes are durable and fast out of the gate. Simple to use and a sponge applicator is included for easily spreading the product. This sponge also stays saturated maximizing the use of the bottle. Non aerosol. Rode is one of the very few companies using an aluminum bottle for decreased plastic waste. For increased speed and durability use the Rode Wool Roto. 80ml bottles will do between 20-35 pairs of skis. All temperatures listed are snow temperatures. ****Tech Tip- Put on the night before skiing and buff with Rode Wool Roto Buffer and then brush out with nylon or horsehair aggressively the next day for increased initial speed and durability.**** Racing eXtra Liquid Cold -5C to -15C (5F to 23F). Really good in newer cold snow and at lower humidity. This wax can really fly in the right conditions. Racing eXtra Liquid Med -2C to -7C (19F to 28F). This one is a monster. If we were to recommend one liquid wax to have it would be RLM. Good in a variety of snow types and in the key temp range of the 20s This won about 70% of our fluoro free wax tests last year. We simply cannot say enough about this wax. Racing eXtra Liquid Warm -3C to 0C (26F to 32F) RLW is a versatile warm solution especially when the humidity remains below 50%.
