Block Gliders

$44.00
The HS series are great gliders for training and competition with very good glide properties. HS5 TURQUOISE, -.4°F/14°F The 5 series is the hardest wax in the HS line, and is a great choice in cold conditions, due to its great durability and dry friction properties. It's a great choice both for alpine and cross country. Despite being a wax for cold conditions, the melting point makes it easier to apply than many competitors, in this area, without sacrificing the great glide properties. For fresh, old or manmade snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Scraping after appr. one minute. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. HS5 can be used as a race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 150°C (311°F) HS6 BLUE, 10ºF/21°F HS6 is very versatile. Its area of use stretches from underlayer for powder to racing wax and base prep wax for cold skis. HS6 has a good durability and offers great performance on natural and artificial snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. HS6 can be used as race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 145°C (293°F). HS7 VIOLET, 18°F/28ºF HS7 performs great in normal winter conditions below the freezing point. Its hardness makes it convenient to work with and easy to get a good end-result. Can be used as a racing wax at low air humidity, but will also serve the purpose as a brilliant training wax. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating ski or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. HS7 can be used as race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 140°C (284°F). HS8 RED, 24.8º/39.2ºF A great wax for both base-prep and training. It can also be used as a race wax, preferably used with a top coat. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 130°C (266°F). HS10 YELLOW, 32°F/50ºF HS10 is a great base prep wax, but also a great training wax. Ideal in warm conditions, typically during spring skiing. For racing we recommend to go with a top coat as the final layer. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 120°C (248°F).

Designed specifically for wet conditions and dirty snow. The black additive helps reduce friction and reduces the amount of dirt that sticks to the base. As well as being superb in wet conditions, this wax is also highly competitive in colder weather. The speed of the waxing iron should be approx. 8-10 seconds for a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability. Scrape after waiting about one minute. It is important to have a good waxing iron in order to melt the wax efficiently. Recommended waxing iron temp.: 155°C. - Durable glide wax - A favorite for classic long-distance skiing - Hard wax - Can be used with roto wool - For all skiing - Ski wax

The TSB series are gliders for competition that work extremely well, and are highly durable, on dirty snow and in dry, high friction conditions. This is achieved thanks to the black solid lubricant additive that reduces friction and absorbs less dirt in contaminated snow. Its hardness makes it convenient to work and highly durable. TSB series can be used as a race wax alone or as a base for top coats. -TS5B - 0/14F is the hardest wax in the TSB line and is a great choice in cold conditions. Recommended iron temp.: 160°C (320°F) -TS6B - 10/21F is the second hardest wax in the TSB line and is a great choice in typical winter conditions. Recommended iron temp.: 155°C (311°F). -TS7B - 17/28F is a versatile wax suited for normal winter conditions below the freezing point. It has shown good properties on artificial snow in addition to natural, transformed older snow. Recommended iron temp: 150°C (302°F). -TS8B - 24/39F is made harder than the std TS8. Excellent results in artificial snow as well as natural transformed older snow, especially noticeable when used alone. Recommended iron temp: 150°C (302°F). -TS10B - 32/50F is made harder than the std. Excellent results in artificial snow as well as natural transformed older snow, especially noticeable when used alone. Recommended iron temp: 165°C (329°F). APPLICATION The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Scraping after approx. one minute. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax.
