SG GREEN (-13F to 14F): The gold-standard for cold weather glide wax. Start Green is incredibly hard. Ideal for ultra-cold temps with abrasive, fresh snow. Caution! Start Green is incredibly hard - apply carefully so you don't overcook your base. Keep the iron very hot so that you can move quickly over the ski without dwelling iron the ski to melt each spot. Requires a sharp, fresh scraper to scrape effectively. SG PURPLE (18F to 28F): A great basic glider for training and racing when humidity is <55%. SG red (27F to 45F): A great basic glider for training and racing when humidity is <55%.

Depending on the conditions choose one that fits the temp range you will be skiing in. The Warm Version is for temps 10 to 40F. To use, simply remove any old wax from your ski base. Drip on some Fast Wax Cold or Warm Moly Additive. About a drop every 2? will do. Then drip on the wax of the day. As you iron in both waxes, they will mix together, and you will be ready for the trail or mountain. Moly will help keep your base clean by reducing electrostatic friction, aka “static cling”. With a reduction in electrostatic build up on the bottom of the ski, you will encounter a serious reduction in environmental friction from dirt, bark, or other contaminates you find on the trail. When does one use a Molybdenum Additive? When the snow is fine-grained the temperatures are cold, humidity is low and the air is dry. A wax with a Molybdenum Additive will enhance the static-reducing benefits of a graphite ski base. Legendary Rex Blue is one of the best non-fluorinated gliders for decades running. An ideal choice for base waxing and training. Violet 86g Ultra Glide (23F to 32F) Popular glide wax for the 20s to mid-30s, especially on humid snow. Excellent durability. Red 86g Ultra Glide (32F to 50F) Softest of the Rex gliders, and therefore suitable for soft tracks and wet new snow.

The PS series are great gliders for training and competition with good glide properties. PS5 TURQUOISE, -.4°F/14°F The PS5 is the hardest wax in the line, and is a great choice in cold conditions, due to its great durability and dry friction properties. It's a great choice both for alpine and cross country. Despite being a wax for cold conditions, the melting point makes it easier to apply than many competitors in this area, without sacrificing the great glide properties. For fresh, old or manmade snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Scraping after appr. one minute. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. PS5 can be used as a race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 150°C (311°F) Replaces the CH5X. PS6 BLUE, 10ºF/21°F PS6 is very versatile. Its area of use stretches from base for powder to racing wax and base prep wax for cold skis. PS6 has a good durability and offers great performance on natural and artificial snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. PS6 can be used as race wax alone or as a base for top coats. Recommended iron temp: 145°C (293°F). Replaces the CH6X PS7 VIOLET, 18°F/28ºF PS7 is a wax that performs great in normal winter conditions below the freezing point. Its hardness makes it convenient to work with and easy to get a good end-result. PS7 is an economic training and racing wax as well as an all round base prep wax. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 140°C (284°F). Replaces the CH7X. PS8 RED, 24.8º/39.2ºF PS8 is an economic training and racing wax as well as base prep wax for warm skis. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 130°C (266°F). Replaces the CH8X. PS10 YELLOW, 32°F/50ºF PS10 is an economic training and racing wax as well as base prep wax for warm skis. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 120°C (248°F). Replaces the CH10X.

White 80gm HS-0 (Below 8F): Extremely hard, cold weather wax best suited for fresh or wind-blown snow near or below zero. Apply with caution as a very hot iron is needed. Popular with many racing teams in the upper Midwest for mid-winter races. Teal 80gm HS-10 (-5F-15F) "Mid-cold" teal is a reliable and economical training wax for abrasive snows in the teens and single digits. Applies easier than extreme white. Comparable to Swix CH5X. Also available in 500g bulk bars. Blue 80gm HS-20 (12F-28F) Fast Wax Blue is one of our more popular choices. Makes a good "universal" glider for waxers looking for a simple set-up Comparable to Swix CH6X. Also available in 500g bulk bars.
