RG22 Blue -2…-8°C For all snow types. Developed for mild to medium frosts, the RG22 is our all time fastest fluor free wax! As a block it is hard, but still easy to melt. Developed especially as an underlayer for top coatings, but works extremely well also as a final layer. Scrape while still warm, let cool down and brush. Melting point: ~135°C RG32 Green -8…-20°C For all snow types. A hard and very durable glider for cold conditions. Due to its hardness it is very durable and abrasion resistant. A fluor-free version of HF31 block, that has been upgraded with N-Kinetic level 2 additives. Scrape when still warm, let cool down and brush. Melting point: ~140°C RG12 Yellow. +2…-2°C For all snow types. The softest wax on RG-series. Compared to traditional warm condition gliders the RG12 is relatively hard and not so oily wax. Use the waxes you already have and add as much or as little moly to it. Save your money for $14 hamburgers! Fast Wax has two version of our Moly Additive wax, cold and warm. Depending on the conditions choose one that fits the temp range you will be skiing in. The Warm Version is for temps 10 to 40F. To use, simply remove any old wax from your ski base. Drip on some Fast Wax Cold or Warm Moly Additive. About a drop every 2? will do. Then drip on the wax of the day. As you iron in both waxes, they will mix together, and you will be ready for the trail or mountain. Moly will help keep your base clean by reducing electrostatic friction, aka “static cling”. With a reduction in electrostatic build up on the bottom of the ski, you will encounter a serious reduction in environmental friction from dirt, bark, or other contaminates you find on the trail. When does one use a Molybdenum Additive? When the snow is fine-grained the temperatures are cold, humidity is low and the air is dry. A wax with a Molybdenum Additive will enhance the static-reducing benefits of a graphite ski base. Designed specifically for wet conditions and dirty snow. The black additive helps reduce friction and reduces the amount of dirt that sticks to the base. As well as being superb in wet conditions, this wax is also highly competitive in colder weather. The speed of the waxing iron should be approx. 8-10 seconds for a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability. Scrape after waiting about one minute. It is important to have a good waxing iron in order to melt the wax efficiently. SG GREEN (-13F to 14F): The gold-standard for cold weather glide wax. Start Green is incredibly hard. Ideal for ultra-cold temps with abrasive, fresh snow. Caution! Start Green is incredibly hard - apply carefully so you don't overcook your base. Keep the iron very hot so that you can move quickly over the ski without dwelling iron the ski to melt each spot. Requires a sharp, fresh scraper to scrape effectively. SG PURPLE (18F to 28F): A great basic glider for training and racing when humidity is <55%. SG red (27F to 45F): A great basic glider for training and racing when humidity is <55%.
