New Moon Staff:
The 812 is a hard wax ski-reliable kick on the uphills without having to work hard for the grip. Not as quick as the 902 construction in glazed, fast tracks, especially in double poling but excellent in hilly marathon courses, or for lighter recreational skiers looking to improve their classic technique. The 812 mold is a long pocket with moderate to low secondary camber height that fully closes for confidence in the climbs.
