610 construction is Fischer's magic balance of front and rear pressure creating a fast and stable ski across many snow conditions, especially in uphills. More World Cup medals have been won on this ski than any other brand or model. Plus base is fast above 20-25 degrees F but is flexible with cold grinds and harder waxes .

The new Speedmax 90 Skate Plus 610 is a very lightweight race ski with an Air Core HM Carbon core and World Cup experience, as confirmed by the RACE CODE seal. This ski is equipped with innovative Cold Base Bonding technology for optimal wax absorption and grindability as well as a liquid waxable Gliding Sidewall for reduced friction. In other words, this ski provides more speed for ambitious racers. To protect the base, a thin layer of wax is applied to the skis which must be removed and brushed off before the first use. Optimized for use 14°F (-10°C) and warmer.
