Quick-link removal Instructions: Place the quick Link near the top of the crank Jump the chain forward one tooth so the quick-link stands-up Use the slot on the Prestalever to push down FIRMLY. (The crank tooth will support the other end from underneath.) T-handle Tubeless Tire Plugger (optional parts required – Available 12/15/2021) The center of the Prestalever has threads which accept our Tubeless tire plugger. It then forms a T-Handle for effective, centered pushing of the included "Bacon Strips" used to seal large cuts in Tubeless tires. Third-hand Tool for Hand Installation Certain tires have delicate beads. Tire manufacturers recommend hand-installation only. The Prestalever can be used as a "third-hand" tool. When you hand-install the bead in one direction, the tire starts lifting-out at the other end. Insert the lever at one end to hold the bead, then use BOTH hands to install the tire from the other end. Tubeless Tire Removal (or any Difficult Tire) The Prestalever is the #1 tool for removing difficult tires. Using two or three can help with the toughest tire and wheel combo's. Insert a lever, but do NOT flip it yet. The rim hook will hold the lever in place, but unlike traditional levers that hook onto spokes, the bead will NOT be tensioned. You can still fit-in more Prestalevers. Insert the levers spaced about 6 inches apart, then flip them all … one-at-a-time. Even the toughest tires will come right off the rim in seconds.
